I have updated my phone but still the issue persists. The update has not fixed the issue of screen blackout or switch off.

Thanks dude for the reply. It seems service center is the only option. Probably a replacement since they themselves have no clue about the rootcause. I advice you to get it to a service center asap as I've seen another user complaining about the asus RMA service.
