DanishbluntI'm planning to exchange ROG3 for S23+ / Ultra when it comes out. 4 years of guaranteed OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates on flagship devices is game changer for me!https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/241122#Comment_241122
dno if 600mpbs is considered good when tower is only 800meters away. That being said I'm glad you apparently got the issue resolved, only sad point is that it's kinda useless unless you're literally living next to a tower. I hope the SD gen2 finally resolves the heavy 5g battery drain, since until now all 5g capable chipsets and seperate 5g modems (which the rog3 has) is quite heavy on battery.

Deepan_ChI personally aim for sony as they have a no compromise phone and don't want to screw me over. Samsung is way to bloated, spying nonstop and their phones have severe compromises for a way to high price. Not to mention Sony is way ahead of samsung in terms of support. Sony actively helps developers developing roms and has no problems letting customers repair their phones. No anti repair BS like samsung or apple.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/241208#Comment_241208

Danishblunt2, 3, 4, 5 G and all the variants are differentiable by the operators and by the smartphone, 5g SA of course, but also when they share the same bands, it is not at all the speed that indicates 4G or 5G . depending on the bands, there are several technologies, but the most widely used currently is to inject 5G signals into 4G frames (4G users are harmed, the more 5G users there are, the slower 4G goes), DSS technology ( no impact on 4G) and 5G SA which is not yet widespread.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/240975#Comment_240975
That makes 0 sense. A provider cannot differeniate between 4g and 5g data, data is data period.
Show me that speedtest of 1.6gbps.

Hamid2404Go to settings, turn 5G SA on if you're on Jio. Not sure about Airtel. Then, select network type as 2/3/4/5G and then check for Jio towers around you. N78 is the only supported Jio 5G band in ROG3 Indian versions.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/241122#Comment_241122
How did you resolve your issue? I am not getting 5G network ?
