Future updates for the ROG 3

Hello, I have a question for the ROG 3 system update and security updates.
I have seen in different posts and websites about the fact that ASUS policy only gives system and security updates for 2 years, and after those 2 years the phone usually gets left behind, is it true? or do they keep giving some updates from time to time.
Would love to get a good answer for that.

Its not really dissapointing, its literally what ASUS told all buyers. 2 Years support. Whats dissapointing is ASUS's unwillingness to help people develop custom roms with all features, probably in fear of people porting their features to other phones.

To be honest, when I got the rog 3 I didn't even notice that 2 years support plan.
And for a gaming phone I expected more.

I'm a little surprised, why exacly did you expect more? All other gaming phones support only 1 major update with 2 years security updates.
I did some digging and it seems its easier to port the entire featureset than previously believed. If A14 is worth it and I still have the Rog3 at that time, I will probably be making an A14 ROM with the important features such as airtriggers, armorycrate xmode etc.

well regular phones from other companies like Samsung, Apple give over 4 years of support, and as a gaming phone I thought it would be almost the same.
Maybe it is not that big of a deal but still, security updates are always important, at-least that.

Try bliss rom they have A13 for Rog 3 except asus specific features
