Wifi & Wifi-Hotspot Not Working

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name: ASUS Rog Phone 5
Firmware Version: Android 11 (18.0840.2106.86)
Rooted or not: Not Rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: All the time

So my wifi & wifi-hotspot suddenly stopped working. They won't turn on at all (the hotspot says Error when I try turning it on from this screen). I tried booting into safe mode (doesn't work there also). Tried restarting it several times. Not sure what to do anymore. I don't wanna lose data so if you know how to fix this, Let me know.

My phone is with customer care for last 27 days. No update, nothing, even if I add a complaint they just tell us to wait more. They are showing repair is complete but as the customer care has to send the phone to another city, they haven't got the device back. Still waiting for it and just hope everything works after this poor customer experience! Fingers crossed

i contact with customer care, they are saying refund is not possible after 7 days of purchase, my phone 3 months old. So they only providing service unde warranty.

And i called service center they saying it's bug in mother board they will replace it and issue will resolve.

I have read that some users are facing the same issue and also another issue of Finger print scanner not showing up on screen. Even if they change your Mother Board chances of facing the same issue is very high. Even my phone was submitted in service center when it was 3 months old. You can justify the refund to the Senior Executive instead of speaking to executives who get connected when you contact them. You'll have to fight for it as I did the same. If you pay such a premium price for a Premium phone how can they just keep on increasing the turn around Time (TAT) and do nothing about it and let the consumer suffer even after paying such a huge amount. ASUS needs to be taught a lesson for their disgusting after sales services. Either you keep quiet and let them take their sweet time for the repair or you can fight with them and that will make them push your case higher.

Thank you for replying, but Doha is in Qatar not UAE, anyway, please pinned this, I woke this morning and found that wifi & hotspot are working again. By it self, without update, without resetting the phone, i did nothing.

Probably it will lost again. Initially, I got the wifi signals back on my phone without doing anything and felt very happy. But after few days, it lost for ever. Finally decided to bring it to the service center. Yesterday, after 30 days of waiting, I got back the device after a mother board replacement. Everything working fine for now. Gladly the 8 GB RAM now replaced with a 12 GB RAM! Honestly says, I'm so curios how the things going on then. Hope this guy makes no more troubles for me again 🙂

They don't change the motherboard, it's a new or refurbished new phone that you received if you went from 8gb to 12gb ram
