It sounds like this because the internal audio is picked up by the microphone. If you wish to have better audio with screen recordings, then I suggest you use a headset. Then it will record the internal audio + your microphone and not only your microphone
I see. Thank @Anders_ASUS@Anders_ASUS. But screen recording using an earphone. Microphone does not capture my voice. Especially when the pubg mic is on. So pretty useless. Ive seen people posting with this issue. When is this going to be fixed?
Yeah internal/game audio and teammates voice is recorded but not mine. Thats kinda strange
We're looking into this. A pixel phone with A11 will do the same so the issue lies in the Google A11 AOSP code but we're currently trying to crack it. But this issue is only for games with an in-game microphone chat feature. As soon as you disable it in PUBG, your voice is recorded.
Yeah, i hope this can be fixed soon. On the next update. We really need this feature in screen recording. Especially for making video contents.
I see, so this is an android 11 issue. Need to take note on that for me not to update my rog 3 to A11. The good thing in rog 5 is, the recording has no cap. I hope this will be fixed soon, in rog 5.
@Anders_ASUS Is there any option to turn off microphone during video recording?
There's an option for noise reduction but i want to record completely muted video.
Of course in the screen recorder settings you may sett Record input to None
Screen recording and video recording through camera isn't two different thing?
Does the same option work for both, let me try.
Hi @Gustav_ASUS and @Anders
I would just like to inform. That the screen recording not recording microphone input when in game microphone is on. This is not only the issue. But also my teammates are also "hearing feedbacks and their voice echoes on their end". I believe this is also related to phone calls having echoes on the voice opposite end. Please take a look into this.
