After the update, i can't use free messenger data of my mobile network. it shows an x signal in my sim1 slot and a 4g or 3g connection.

Haha its a bug m facing same
Btw do u have dual sim? Bcuz for me that bug happened when i changed the preferred sim for internet
Temporarily fix is try running it on 2g/3g 🙂

But this bug is still not known to devs ig maybe other mods can help pass em this msg about this particular bug. @Anders_ASUS

i am only using single sim inserted on the ROG2 phone. it happened after the last update.

Well i gave you a temporary fix, did it work for you?
Just try changing preferred network type from 2g/3g/4g to 2g/3g
