Aimesh : RT-AX82U & RT-AC68U Mesh

Would like to know the optimal Aimesh network setup using RT_AX82U AX5400 (networking speed of 5400Mbps) and RT-AC68U AC1900 (networking speed of 1900Mbps).
Two possible topology:
Option 1 : RT-AX82U as primary Aimesh router and RT-AC68U as secondary or slave Aimesh node.
Option 2 : RT-AC68U as primary Aimesh router and RT-AX82U as secondary or slave Aimesh node.
Assumptions : Assume that the 2 nodes are connected by ethernet cable in both topology options
Question #1:
Is the overall Aimesh networking speed limited to the Aimesh node that has the lowest bandwidth ? That is, regardless of which of the 2 topologies implemented, the resultant Aimesh network has a bandwidth of 1900Mbps.
OR
Is the networking speed dependent on the node that a client is connected to, irrespective of what the primary Aimesh router is ? For example, in topology option 1 above, a client when connected to RT-AX82U could expect networking speed of 5400Mbps and if topology option 2 is adopted, it could expect networking speed of 5400Mbps as well even though the primary Aimesh router is of lower networking speed. Are these true ?
