Asus did not communicate a recall with the serial numbers concerned, buyers of Rog5 in July / August also had the problem (so there are still some on the market), this problem now also concerns those in the Chinese market, c so is when our Rog5s lose the Wifi and the access point that we will know.
However for Rog 5, I can't comment anything at all because Snapdragon 888 is a heater SoC not only Rog 5 but every Snapdragon 888 device has terrible user experience. It's only good if you are from a place having cold weather and all.

Did you get back your phone?
Yes after 2 months now it's been a month and haven't noticed a single issue now, everything in top notch condition.
