Hi all.
I'm awaiting my Zenfone 8, and am pondering which screen protector to get.
I've seen a few complaints about the performance of the fingerprint sensor when using screen protectors, and am wondering what kind of experience you all have. Have any of you had any success with a particular type? For example, does plastic work better than glass?

Hi , generally speaking;

The thinner the protector the less impact it has.
The "clearer" the protector the less impact it has.

Most users with issues have been using glass type screen protectors - as they are thicker - which will more heavily impact the performance and recognition from the FP sensor.

Hi, I have a 0,2mm foil screen protector and the sensor is not working properly. I have a video of adding new FP but cannot post link

Thanks for letting me know . Do you get occasional misreads or is it rendered useless?
