Can you go to the calculator and put in .12345+= and press on Single Test.
Do all board microphone test and let us know if it has failed or pass.
passed all tests. the problem is the noise of the microphone. nowadays it has reduced the cracking and noise interval considerably, even more so. tried to post a link from the first Live but I am not allowed.
Can you ensure you respond/post in English as this is a Global forum, we need to allow other people to understand tghe problem you are getting. Do use Google Translate if you're not good in English.
Go to Armoury Crate - Press on the 3 dots top right hand corner - Choose Settings - Enable/Tick "Disable fan when microphone is active".
That should reduce the cracking noise as it would be the fan blowing to it.
I don't have a fan, but I'll enable it.
It's not the aero cooler fan (the attachment). It is the fan inside the phone.
Thank you for translating in English too :D
.... there are still some pops and interferences.
That's strange - the link you were trying to post, remove the http:// and www and replace the dot with the word "dot" so it doesn't recognise it is a link.
I think it would only help if we can hear the problem.
But disabling the fan while microphone is active is common to these kind of problems.
youtu"point"be/vdY20F5WpZ0 a few days after buying the cell phone, it was like this, now the interval between crackles is longer.
now it's like that, there's a break before repeating. (I had to convert to be able to send)
Thanks I will take a listen/look
By the way are you using an earphone/headphone?
The YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdY20F5WpZ0) with the initial noise sound like air/wind blowing or sudden movement/touch on screen. If you reduce the volume, that should ease that noise. If you can, can you try it with an earphone? The aim is to prevent the echo coming back from the touches you make. Or, record something, step a few metres back and talk normal - the theory is you shouldn't hear the interference.
The attached mp3 file can be anything and it's hard to make out unfortunately for me, so sorry about that you had to convert it to get it attached on here.
Do you have any app with it's own EQ (like poweramp). If you do, uninstall these apps and try again.
It might be hardware issue but before you contact your local asus support, you could try and factory reset your phone.
I reset, but the problem persists.
I also noticed that when shooting, the camera crashes a lot. Is it related to the microphone?
Don't know but it's not normal so please contact your local support
I sent it to the store's warranty, they sent me a new device. also with the same problem. both with pops on the microphone! this is annoying me 😞
