Mobile instantly turn off after i end call and recieve jio class 0 message which has call duration and balance.
This is not a issue of the device this is sent by jio
Jio recently started charging for non-Jio calls. You will not receive this message for Jio to Jio calls.
But every time mobile turns off by class 0 msg. When i call jio to other mobile.
Just save all the messages and you can see those in messaging app. Attached a screenshot of the same
But my rog switch off instantly after receiving this message.

I have been facing the exact same issue. For me if the call duration is more than 20 minutes then it happens otherwise no problem.
I contacted the support team through phone and they wanted me to visit the service center to replace whatever part is gone faulty but definitely this is not a hardware issue. So I tried my luck again and called the call center and requested to escalate the issue to R&D, which was yesterday. Today I received a call from them asking me to give them a video of the issue occurring. Fortunately I had made one yesterday and today I shared with them.
This is definitely a software bug. Basically not able to handle a Class 0 message and it is triggering restart on the system.
I am hoping the Asus developers team will work on it and release some update soon. My request to all, whoever facing this issue with ROG2 or even Zenphone 6Z to call Asus and ask them to escalate to the R&D team, so that there is a solution made available ASAP.
Even zenfone 5Z has this issue which m facing?
Working with Anders_ASUS to find out what is causing this. I need to capture the error log and then share with him to analyse. Will let you guys know the progress.
Using Microsoft sms manager app you can mute class 0 messages
I'm receiving these messages and even after 20+mins calls, I don't have this restart issue. Is this limited to few devices or people with this issue are have any rogue/conflicting apps?
Are you using Jio and receiving the class 0 message or other network provider. Also don't disconnect the call from your end. Issue won't occur. Keep the phone screen locked and ask the other party to hang up. That's when the issue occurs . What is the build number of your phone ?
I have reset my phone to factory settings and then without installing any app at all (except the ones from factory) also facing the same problem. So I don't think it's any conflicting app causing this.
Yes I'm using Jio. Tried to reproduce the issue with the scenario you said, but no issues or restart. Called from Jio to other network and call duration is 23mins. Call is ended by other number.
@kchinnavigneshraja Thank you for your quick reply. Glad to know that your device is working fine. Believe @sanjaykkumar1986 and I probably just have bad devices. Did not expect such issue with a brand new phone.
I don't think its a hardware issue. Maybe try to replicate it in safemode?
I will try to replicate the issue in safe mode and see what happens. But now I am starting to think it is not a software issue and definitely faulty hardware. I have performed full reset once more and then updated to the latest FW-WW-16.0631.1910.64 which was just released. But still facing the same issue.
@Kashyap , Use Microsoft sms and mute it at first time you receive the class 0 message. Afterwards, you won't get pop up for class 0.
@sathishinsat2 Yes I have tried it and it works. Since the message does not come so no reboot issue. But when I block the push message notification it also blocks some of the OTP messages (not all but some). Still, the phone should be able to handle it without needing to do this trick. I have given my phone to the service center today. Lets see what they have to say. Did you face similar issues?
My rog 2 restarts when connected to bluetooth headset and call ends. I have tried two headphone vmoda froza and anker sound buds. Didn't expected these type of bugs in this premium phone.
