Hi, I updated my phone from Android 8 to Android 9. I downloaded the correct file from asus.com. after finished installing. The display is not showing, but the phone seems started, because if you press the volume, you can hear the sound. Also you can hear the sound when doing a screenshot.
The logo appears when starting.
Please help. Thank you!

Hi switchfoot2093
Thank you for your asking. Kindly provide the information below so that we can better assist you.
1. Your previous firmware version
2. The firmware file which you downloaded
https://www.asus.com/supportonly/ZenFone%20Max%20M1%20(ZB555KL)/HelpDesk_BIOS/
3. Did you put the file into the root directory, aka the outermost place, of the internal storage?
Besides, please try the following steps to access recovery mode for the Factory Reset:
0. Try to back up your data with USB cable. If you can not access the phone, please check if your google account or microSD card have auto backup your data.
1. Power off the phone, then keep pressing "volume down key"
2. Press "power key" and stop press " power key" once you feel the vibration. Still keep pressing "volume down key".
3. Stop press "volume down key" once you enter [Android Recovery] Screen
4. Choose "Wipe data/factory reset">"Yes"
5. "Reboot system now"

Please note that once the steps are completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.

Yeah, I follow the correct steps on updating my Phone. I have 2 Zenfone Max M1, the same model. The other one updated successfully, but the other one did not. it finished updates but did not boot on OS, and no access on recovery mode.
I cannot go to Recovery Mode. My only access is CSC Fastboot Mode.
