This is a known bug from the oreo update. My solution is, until ASUS make a fix we can only do manual recalibration by using third party apps such as gps status to fix the roll calibration and e-compass calibration everytime we restart the phone. If not recalibrated, there might be some issues such as google maps not recognizing the correct direction we are heading thus prompting a reroute every time we stopped such as in traffic lights.
