How to disable Google Discover widget?

Just bought the phone, coming from a Zenfone 3 Max ZC520TL. Actually getting crazy for removing completely the Google widget when swiping left from the home screen. I disabled any feature of the app, so it doesen't show anything, but the widget is still there. Is there any way to completely remove it?

Hi cerminator, Good day. Do you mean Google card as below screenshot? If yes, and you wouldn't like to use this, you can disable then uninstall the Google app. Thank you.
