The Phone Hangs When A large File or App is Deleted

When I delete a large size file or an app the phone hangs and is left completely unresponsive. Force shutdown by holding power button is needed to get it back working again.

The problem exists in earlier as well as latest Android 9 stable versions. It's most probably a known issue Asus wont care to fix.

Did u try to run in safe mode?

There's no point in booting in Safe Mode as the Safe Mode will Disable all the Third Party Applications and the issue mostly arises while uninstalling large applications. And for the Hard Reset, one user already said the issue is not fixed even after a hard reset. Thank you

lol its happening in my phone.,

even my phone has 44 gb free space

when i clear chrome history in advanced mode

my max pro m2 hang

when i uninstall 3-4 apps simultaneously phone will hang for 10-15 sec it will become unresponsive

It also happened to me,
When I cleared the storage of the chrome app from the settings the phone got unresponsive and got into a bootloop, I cannot do anything else except go into recovery mode.
I had to do a hard reset to make the phone work normally.

Did you share this problem with the mods previously or this is the first time? If u haven't discuss about this issue then try to discuss with the mods they will surely help you.
