Dear all, I have a Zenfone Max Pro M2. I was reading some posts here and Android 10 seems to be available for my device. The system update does not show any version available for me. Should I do it in a different way? If the update is available, I want to use it. However, I did not find information regarding if the popup notifications issue is fixed for Max Pro M2 on Android 10. The popup notifications are used by many applications, including WhatsApp and Telegram. Android 10 removed the functionality and many people have to open the application in order to see the messages (what is annoying, because you want to be notified when a new message arrives, not having to open the application manually). Some brands seem to have moved to Android 11 and some others patched their Android 10 images. Before trying to upgrade my device, I would like to confirm whether this is an issue for Max Pro M2. 1. Pop Up Notifications Please check a. Settings>Apps & notifications>See all apps>3 dots on the top row>Reset app preferences b-1. Settings>Apps & notifications>Notifications>On lock screen>Show all notification content b-2. Settings>Apps & notifications>Notifications>Do Not Disturb>Notification>Make sure it is "Turn Off", you may check the status by swipe to the bottom
2. System Update & Downgrade Kindly note that the system design between each Android are quite different. If you still prefer Android 9, you may downgrade your device with official downgrade image file. *Before you start, please back up your data..
