Minecraft 1.21.123.2 APK - Graphic Stutters on ROG Phone?

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to figure out an issue with the latest Minecraft update and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. I'm referencing this specific version:

I've been running it on my ROG Phone and noticed some performance changes compared to older versions. I'm hoping to get some feedback or suggestions from fellow ASUS gamers here.

Device & Game Details

• Phone: ASUS ROG Phone 8

• Software Version: Android 14

• Game: Minecraft 1.21.123.2

Observed Issues

I'm seeing some minor but noticeable issues that weren't present before:

• Slight, intermittent frame stutters when loading new chunks, especially in cherry grove biomes.

• The inventory screen sometimes has a half-second delay before opening.

• Armour Crate's X Mode doesn't seem to smooth out the performance as much as it used to with this version.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken

• Cleared the game cache.

• Rebooted the device multiple times.

• Toggled various in-game video settings (Fancy/Fast graphics, render distance, etc.).

• Ensured the phone's software is fully up to date.

Has anyone else noticed similar behavior on their device? I'm wondering if it's a compatibility hiccup with the latest game code or if there's a setting I might have overlooked. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know if our problems are related, but I also started having freezes after this update. And every 5 seconds, it is impossible to play. I changed the graphics, it does not affect at all. Neither the video card, nor the processor, nor the memory are fully loaded. Other games don't freeze, only Minecraft. So, apparently, something was messed up in this version, we are waiting for a new one.

Could you please share a screen recording of this happening? And does this also happen with the game downloaded from the Play Store?

Here is the screen recording. In Minecraft, downloaded from the Play Market, there are no problems or freezes at all. Works great on the same version. But I don't have the ROG, only Realme GT7. By the way, I returned the old version - it does not freeze. So my hypothesis was confirmed.

Since it seems to be an unofficial app then it's a bit harder to work with, but hopefully the developer updates the app to work better soon.
