Are there any news about unlocking the bootloader?

According to this link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/end-of-support-products/
We should still get updates updates untill 2026 (but only android 12-14).
The newest update is however from 2024, so it would be quite nice if we could install a custom ROM if ASUS decides not to update our devices. 

So, will it be possible to unlocking the bootloader again?

I agree we should be able to unlock bootloader and install custom software to extend the life of our devices

It's been more than a year without any security updates. What's going on if the software is supposed to be supported till 2026?
