In use GPS resets when rotating or minimizing apps

 Try this on another phone. To me it looks like it could be from the app.

I tried it on Google Pixel 7 Pro, having the latest android 13 version, and the application works fine without any loss of signal / reset when trying the same things (minimization and rotating the app)

I have tried it too. After I minimize the app (GPS Test Plus) and bring it up again, I see the same screen as previously (3D-fixed), but there is no sign there is any scanning going on.

So... How does this work?

Is anyone capable of understanding the issue looking on this forum or are we just posting here so that we can feel better?
