Zenfone 6, 7 and 8 all working fine with full res mode without issue.
The Asus app only use a single frame for capture while MotionCam use multiple frames. The issue was the continuous raw stream not working properly

I am aware, motioncam brackets the images to a video file per frame which is extremely demanding, it works much like sonys HDR recording. However I don't think its an ASUS issue but a bandwidth issue, the reason why I believe that is because ID 1 works fine which is the same lens as 3, only difference is that the ID 1 mode uses physical pixel binning to make smaller images.
Have you compared the size of the ZF9 to 8,7,6? I am aware that in sheer resolution the 64MP lenses are larger, however I'd argue that due to the physically larger 50MP lens it should be able to capture more information and tehrefor the output should be notably larger in filesize.
When you take a raw image, how do do file sizes compare?
