Additional anti-theft security ESSENTIAL

On the internet I have found users who recommend activating additional security features so that in case of theft of our phone, they can not put it in airplane mode or turn off the device to prevent it from being tracked and located.

They say there are some options in "Settings > Security & lock screen > Screen lock" , but that in our Zenfone 9 are not available.

I do not know if they are options of any specific brand or Android Stock.

Is there a way that when activating the airplane mode or turning off the phone it asks for the password or PIN?

I think it's a VERY SERIOUS security issue.

Agreed, I came over from Samsung & was baffled that such a security hole exists. The only workarounds I found require rooting your phone, which really shouldn't be necessary for such a simple & basic level of security.
