Really? Do you have some comparison before/after?
I feel like the camera has same pros and cons like before update.

still early stages, but i'm getting a vibe that the battery life might be slightly worse than A12.

Of course not, especially since I don't have 2 ZF9s side by side, one with A12 and one with A13 - nor a photo lab where I regularly take pics of the same objects under controlled lighting conditions. It's just an impression ("seems") so take it with the amount of salt you feel comfortable with.

After a system update, it is normal for the system processes to optimize for a period of time - which initially results in a shorter working time on a single battery charge. One can hope that after some time (a few days) everything will return to normal.
