While on screen mirroring / casting to Google Chromecast, ZenFone native camera app, doesn't rotate to horizontal / landscape mode (it keeps itself portrait mode and just on Chromecast side).
Example, Open Camera rotate just fine from portrait to horizontal.
Casting is necessary that we can monitor back camera while you are front of it.
