Model Name: Zenfone 7 128/8gb
Firmware Version: 30.40.30.93
Rooted or not: No
Frequency of Occurrence: Everytime
========================================
The bug that I recently found within the new Android 11 update is when I go to an application that has medias and can rotate the video while watching, the home gesture slider doesn't go to bottom of the current orientation of the phone and you can slide the place where the gesture is supposed to be on and go to recent apps tab, but the indicator is on the other side of the screen and vise versa .
For example : Play a video in Youtube and tap the fullscreen icon within the app, the video rotates but the home indicator stays where it should be when it is in portrait mode instead of landscape mode which is the fullscreen of most youtube videos, you can also slide the indicator where it is supposed to be in landscape mode and enter recent apps, but the indicator slider is in the bottom of portrait mode, you can solve this problem by opening the recent apps screen and just go in and out of the app, the process is a hassle though.
Also, I set my phone's orientation to portrait mode, I only use landscape while watching videos.
I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem as me, but I can't wait till the next update for this bug to be fix.
Thanks ASUS

RoystoysYou can download it and install manually as long as you are on WW firmware (global firmware). Doesn't matter if it's released in another region it will be the same as the one you will get on OTA. I'm in Sweden and downloaded the one released and installed without issues.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/160061#Comment_160061
Yes but it is not available for the general public yet only beta testers and one country in Asia but I can't remember which one,I believe,but someone will correct me if I am mistaken

I do have a custom launcher set as default and I tried setting it back to Asus Launcher, the problem vanished when I'm using the native launcher, but are there any other way to fix this bug, cuz' I have been using NL as my main Launcher since Zenfone 2. (My first ever phone XD)
I really hope they fix this bug for the next update, because there will be no point of customizing default apps in the settings if your only bound to use the native apps.
Thanks for your suggestion tho.

I think Asus don't know, So you need to report it.
I think the problem in all android 11 based on Asus UI. in ROG 3 we have android 11 beta, so may they fix it soon, but don't know about ZenFone 7.

RoystoysDownload it. Move the file to the root of the storage. Reboot phone and you will get a notification to update after you have unlocked the phone.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/160094#Comment_160094
