Bluetooth broken since update

Since the last update my Bluetooth is a nightmare,no one can hear me properly.
I have it connected to a 2019 Toyota HiAce,s multi media unit and has always been crystal clear now I can hear them but they can't hear me properly.
Has anyone else come across this bug ?
Any ideas on a fix that doesn't involve a full reset?

I don't thinkl you can classify it as a bug, it's more a tyoical bluetooth being a hassle problem. I had similair problem with other devices, it's best to be 100% sure what codecs to use otherwise u get problems.

The only options I get for Bluetooth is SBC or AAC I have tried both but it makes no difference.
What about hardware,I have dropped it a few times could it possibly be a hardware issue?

unlikely, if it was a hardware issue u'd have a non working phone. With the bluetooth module it's mostly either working or doesn't work when it comes to hardware issues.

Those options are quite outdated. I assume whats the actual bottleneck here is your toyotas media system being a little funky and out of date. I assume whats goin on here is that the compression is somewhere down the line getting badly done.

I hear you only thing is it worked fine for 12 months with this Van so I don't understand why it has packed up now
Anyway I will probably never know as it's been 12 months it's time to buy a new phone and I will see how it goes. If it's still dodgy then I know it's the Van which is only a couple of years old so it will be a warranty issue. Thanks for your help but much appreciated.

probably some sort of software update in the van or something unlucky has triggered the effect. Many times the solution is easy but finding it is the hard part.

as for buying a new phone. Unless the phone is actually broken I don't think buying a new phone will be useful, I can't think of a phone that would be considered a meanungful upgrade to the ZF7, then again it's your money.

I only keep a phone for 12 months, it's a great tax deductible toy that I can get away with.
It may very well be the Van at least I will know when the new phone arrives
