I find gcam quite disturbing for its inability to provide EIS stabilization at 4k 60fps . gcam is very bad at video recording.

The screen flickers while recording inside a room under bright led bulb during night whereas stock camera can take video recording at minimal light Very easily without any flickers.

Slow motion not working.
And i think the only thing thats good about gcam is astrophotography mode

I think when asus stops software updates for the phone when zenfone 6 becomes completely outdated at that time switching to gcam would be a better option ,by then gcam would have improved a lot with amazing cool features

There has been no significant camera updates after the initial update
The edge detection in portrait shots still hasn't improved
Hdr is a hit or miss
Too much softening in ultra wide
The camera is overall good....but it's just as it was at the launch
