If i remember correctly only data can be moved to an external memory cards and nothing else. Correct me if i am wrong

Hi this isn't possible anymore. This feature was itself removed by Google.
If you want to copy data like music, videos, documents etc. you can place the same on SD card the Apps can take access from the same.
For smooth functioning of the App, the data remains on the Internal storage.
