[Solved] Amazon prime not working in 1080p, not even working on 720p.

Amazon prime not working in 1080p, not even working on 720p. Fix this issue, make it working on 1080p. My poco fone F1 is working on 1080p on prime video.

I've spoken to Amazon and they said ASUS has to put a request through so that Amazon can whitelist devices that doesn't support HD streaming. While asus says that a FOTA update will be released soon that will make this happen. Need a clarification on this. Could anyone from the ASUS technical team comment on this?

Sure, this was done last year - and we have ZenFone 6 devices successfully streaming FHD on Amazon Prime, in Europe, Taiwan, India, etc.
However for whatever reason, not US users per your feedback here. At this moment we dont know why.

Please bring HD playback for Asus Zenfone 5z too. Running latest update on my phone but still no luck . Please do something ASAP as video quality is very poor in prime video.

Any updates on US HD Prime Video playback? I really was looking for a Samsung flagship replacement phone when I got this phone. So far, it has been an over average experience 7/10. No complaints for value. However, with a little more focus on compatibility and stability, this phone is definitely worth the switch over to Asus. I hope you focus more on stability and compatibility.
