Sms app eats up a hell lot of battery

APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): sms default app

You might need to change your battery but before that try factory reset once and check if it solves your problem or else you need to visit service center for battery replacement.

I have fixed the issue myself uninstalled the update of the sms app so it stopped draining my battery
