Screen-glass quality

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name: 6z

It's been roughly 2 yrs since I bought this phone, I had never used screen guards
to my dismay, today the screen getting scratched as I start to scroll, means my nail is enough to make a scratch on corning gorilla glass 6 !
Anybody experienced ?

I've been using the phone for two and a half years. I've never used protective glass on any of my phones. My Zenfone 6 glass is still as good as new.
That won't be a scratch from a fingernail, but from some extremely hard microparticle that got between the glass and your finger.

May be , but something badly got ruptured on screen it seems, it squeeks for even a normal scroll action.
Tried cleaning the surface with microfiber cloth with lens solution but no use
