Sir, with due regard as you said to not to allow facebook to auto-start, after doing it the battery life is still very poor. Please look into it and resolve at the earliest.

Stop fb messenger too just to make sure. That app has also been showing unusually high battery usage. We're still investigating the root cause.
If stopping messenger doesn't have any effect, then you could even go as far as uninstalling both facebook and messenger which will revert them back to the factory installed version.
