4k video and especially 4k 60fps will heat up the camera since it uses Electronic Image Stabilization. You will also notice this much easier since the enclosure is made out of metal. If it had been plastic, then you wouldn't notice it. 4K 60fps is limited to 5 minutes or it will get too hot. Very few cameras does 4K 60fps with EIS so it's quite impressive

I use Freedcam https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=troop.com.freedcam&hl=en_ZA swipe right Video Profile Editor you can make a new profile but i just adjust the default one set Width to 7680 Height to 4320 Video Frame rate to 24.

If you wanna shoot normal 8K24 Video leave Record Mode at Normal if you wanna shoot Time lapse change record Mode to Timelapse click Save then to the right of the UI where it says pic tap on that and choose video i disabled NR and Sharpening in the menu to minimize post processing. then all you gotta do is click on the record button and that;s it.

H264 has stable frame rate H265 not so much FYI also if you cross 50Mbps fps starts to drop.

about 4K60 EIS i think it also depends on ambient temperature it was winter when i tried all these and device was ice cold impressive nonetheless iphone 11 will be the third mobile device after asus zf6 / rog 2 with 460 EIS now all that is missing is HDR 4K60 EIS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfHtTPQL1c8 lol ?

Cool! I knew it was possible to record 8K but I didn't know there was a 3rd party app that could already do it, and pretty well at that 🙂
Thanks for the tip!
