Moving applications to SD card?

Hello All,
Could you please advise as to what should i do to move my apps from phone memory to sd sd card? I tried moving it from Settings -> Apps -> {appname} -> Storage, but no such option exists to transfer. I have also tried formatting the SD card but no such option exists to format as internal storage. Please advise.

Hi! It's no longer possible. Google changed this with the Pie update I think. There were so many issues connected with people running apps from their SD-card that they had to change it. It's only for media now.
