Sir but there's a difference between time lapse and motion lapse. Motion lapse also has two different frames set which it covers while doing a time lapse, something very possible courtesy flip cameraLP_ASUS said:Apologies for the late reply. The ZenFone 6 does have a Time lapse feature. It allows you to capture still images for automatic time lapse playback.
From the Camera app's home screen, swipe to the right to Time Lapse. The phone will then use the shutter to take a Time lapse video after you have selected the desired interval.

Thanks for such a detailed explanation. The camera is great as is anyway with just a few tweaks requiredCH_ASUS said:Hi
Thanks for the suggestion! This feature sounds simple to implement because of the moving camera module - however there are some detailed technical hurdles that are not as obvious - but very real - in why this feature is difficult to do.
While our Flip Camera rotates 180 degrees in 90 steps - 2 degrees per step - which gives a smooth motion to our "eyes" , for a motion time lapse feature, this granularity is actually not enough to produce a smooth panning result - since you're also having a lot of motion in place over time.
As such, while it is indeed a cool idea - it exceeds the design limitations of the Flip Camera in ZenFone 6.
