GPS accuracy is really bad

The GPS accuracy for tracking when I am running is really bad. The Zenfone 6 counts the kilometers badly by adding a lot of meters (more than 100) before reaching a kilometer. Compared with different mobiles the Zenfone is the worst.

Can you improve it with an update? Is vey annoying running with this phone.

I'm betting on that there is something wrong with your device as my device performed as expected. It could be that there is a bug that results in bad performance under certain circumstances but then I need to see some pattern. If you say that it is bad all the time, then it sounds more like it is your device. If you had said that it is really bad when.... Then that is something we can look for and try to replicate

You should investigate.. I think its a software issue because when I use the compass in gmaps it always start in high accuracy and after 10 secs it goes to low accuracy .. .After that the accuracy is unstable ... Other phones are more stable in compass accuracy

I have made a 1 km walking test with 5 different phones, different brands while tracking with Geo Tracker.
On top of this, I have continuously monitored the orientation (compass) of three phones for a longer walk and my conclusion from both of these tests is that there is nothing out of the ordinary with ZenFone 6.
