Camera module and surrounding area heats up within few minutes of using camera app

* If used for longer duration, that's fine but it heats up real quick

Same problem here, the camera unit gets so heated up that I try to cool it manually. I'm on the latest build and updated.

This is normal behaviour and nothing to be concerned about. Because the camera sits in a metal housing it's more noticeable when it gets hot.

Question is soon after the launch , within 2 mins starts heating up

It was not like this in Pie, unless we start using it extensively , like shooting video for more than 15mins or playing with Pro mode

You're welcome to visit a service center and ask them to investigate. Should be easy for them to replicate if it only takes 2 minuts
