I've checked this matter on Chrome, and I don't find this matter in the latest system.
Do you use the stock keyboard, "Gboard"? If yes. Please kindly restore it for a check.
(settings > apps & notifications > see all apps> app info> Gboard> storage & memory >clear data and cache )
If this problem still persists, please kindly tell me more details or a short video of your operation.
(1.) Does it happen when using any specific app?
(2.) Have you installed another third-party keyboard?
(3.) Could you show me a short video of your operation for our reference?
