amitgarde3#JusticeFor5z.Hi all,
Thanksalot for soo much support on this thread i feel ASUS should note this that so many people desperately need this support for 5z to be unconditional this shows success of ASUS in 2018 please bring us ZENUI 7 or android 11 on top of zenui 6 and make 5z remarkable in coming future we have accepted alot till date from ASUS like watever they provided via updates or watever they have came upto for 5z in terms of features n all we never complained but ASUS should also accept the fact that nothing new they bought in 5z after A9 we can see just bug fixes and security patches since A9 i hope ASUS rethinks its policy before giving up with previous flagships its time to prove users ASUS
Also i feel right now smartphone market is so vast and competative in world that ASUS should cop-up with those brands and compete them strongly in this competative world
Please ASUS come on you can prove it to users you can do it ! 😊🤞 We still dont loose any hope on 5z

subhojit.deyYou are right ASUS will stand stronger in front of other OEMS if they do it for 5z 🤞Thank you @amitgarde3 for highlighting this. In 2019 Asus literally released 1 phone. The zenfone 6 apart from the sub 10k INR Zenfone Max M1 and M2. Even in 2018 max pro M1 and M2 were released apart from 5z. This year it will be ROG 3 and Zenfone 7, 7 pro. Its not like ASUS has a catalog to maintain like Samsung with 20 phones in every price range. Asus has revised its operating model greatly and currently it is even comparable to the likes of Apple, Google and Oneplus launching no more than 3-4 phones per year. Apple provides 5 years of support, Google gives a 3-4 year support. Even Oneplus gives 3 years of support. Samsung who releases literally 50 phones every year gives 2 major Android version updates and 3 years of security updates even for a budget phone like M31S.
Asus has 6 phones to maintain in 2020. 3 from 2019, 3 from 2020.
In comparison Oneplus has 9 phones to maintain in 2020 (6,6T,7,7 pro,7T,7T pro,8,8 pro, Nord); 11 considering upcoming 8T and 8T pro. We know all of these models will get updated till 2021 with the recent android versions.
If we took 5z from 2018, they will have 7 phones to maintain till 2021. Which is below any other brand. Honestly right now ASUS has the least number of devices. And 5z has sold quite a lot it did not flunk the market. It was a worthy Oneplus 6 competitor and a lot of people purchased it.
However it isn't like we can have a lot of expectations here but here's something we should have if ASUS plans to retain users long term.
- Just give us important features like VoWifi, ARCore, bug free interface, better touch firmware, smooth experience and only google security patch updates till end of 2021. Android 10 is fine, zenui 6 is fine. Just keep giving security updates please ASUS.
- Android 11 based on Zenui 6 will be amazing.
- Zenui 7 on Android 10 is going to be pretty great too.
Thanks!
