Can someone on AT&T using an unlocked Zenfone 10 verify that the hotspot and wifi calling do indeed work correctly. The reason I ask is well, it's AT&T and I have a Razr plus unlocked that doesn't have the wifi calling feature on AT&T. Also, while I can maybe live without the wifi calls I will def need the hotspot. Thanks a bunch.

You can read the instructions on your device and see for yourself that your phone may have a hotspot.

WiFi calling is also available on the Zenfone 10, BUT YOUR CARRIER MUST TURN THIS SERVICE ON and have it certify the device as well. If you don't certify it (and it's turned on), you can force the feature to work.

yeah for sure. My phone hadn’t arrived yet and was getting ready for it. My Razr plus also had no hotspot on AT&T. So it really is an AT&T thing as to what is allowed. Of course my iPhone 13, allowed, no problem. 😉
thanks for the replies,

Hotspot works. Wifi calling does not. Hoping ATT will enable it, but no luck yet. Zenfone 8&9 are on the ATT whitelist for wifi calling, so fingers crossed that they will eventually add the ZF10. As of Jan 11 2024...nope.

Ok, if AT&T says you have VoWi-Fi turned on although ZF10 is not yet in that white list, try the method to force it:
