I tried to connect to a monitor supporting USB-C with a cable (USB-C 3.1 gen 2) from my Zenbook but it does not seem to work. Nothing happens. Does this zenbook support monitor via USB-C? If not, is it possible to use a USB-C hub with hdmi + USB to connect to a monitor. That would mean I only need to connect one cable + power cable when docking in. Many thanks for advice.
Hello Christian, The USB C port on this model does not support display export. If there is external VGA card on the hub, it would possibly work, but we can not guarantee the compatibility and performanace. Thank you.
