Excessive idle battery consumption in Whisper Mode

Detailed description：
After days of chasing this issue, I have found that changing from Whisper mode to Performance mode allows the system to use less battery. This appears to be a bug, as you would assume that whisper mode would have lower power consumption.
I am measuring 15-20W battery usage while on Whisper mode and the device is idle, but when I switch to Performance mode (Fn + F) the power consumption comes down to 4-6W when idle and 7-8W during light usage. This is a difference in battery life from <4hrs of idle to ~12hrs of light usage.
Is anyone at ASUS aware of this/working on it? Can anyone else confirm my findings?

I used the inbuilt Fn+F shortcut as I mentioned. This I believe is tied into MyAsus. I used BatteryMon for checking power consumption as well as the built in Intel Graphics Command program
