y is the update experience on all asus laptops so bad
new screenexpert update(app navigator) now causes laggy behavior on everystartup
also for some reason windows update is only suggesting 2 year old intel driver, when i have manually installed the new one

Could you please provide the model name (for example, UX8402ZE), OS version, and details of the situation?
Please note that Asus ScreenXpert (ScreenPad Plus) is compatible with the UX481, UX581, and GX550 series.
Also, it is recommended that you refer to the link below and go to the ASUS support site > enter the model name > select [Driver & Tools], and find "ScreenXpert" in Utilities to download the latest version.

They do need to fix some of these very basic update errors. I also couldn't get any good performance out of the UX 482 without downloading the latest driver from Intel when really it should come from Asus
