Hi there, first post on this forum. I have a ZenBook UX331UN EG016T which I bought a year ago now and since a couple of months it started displaying some BSODs with the following codes: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR and DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I've sent the pc to repare a first time and nothing changed, this blue screens continued happening, then I temporarily solved the first error code by replacing the Intel video driver because a non correct version was running on the pc, apparently causing the problem. It ran good for a few weeks and then again the same two codes started appearing. I was asked to install the chipset driver and the Intel Management Engine Interface, but nothing was resolved. All the routine procedures, such as reinstalling OS, reinstalling BIOS, drivers, so on and so fourth, were executed. My question is: The pc is completely new; I bought it because it could be useful to me, speaking of its technical qualities, as a machanical engineering student, in terms of its potencial to run some simulation softwares and similars. Does this problems occur to other users of the same model?

Hi all could anyone solve the issue? I face the issue since the update from Windows 10 build 1803 to 1809, I haven't had the issue in build 1803. I currently running latest nvidia drivers and latested drivers from the asus homepage and Windows 10 build 1903 latest updates are also installed. If you go to Windows event viewer, the system crash is caused by Kernel Power - Event ID 41 - Task Category 63. I tried to fix the issue by using command prompt DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow I also raised a service ticket. Feedback from asus was to give my machine a re-install, if that is not working I shall send in my machine for maintenance. Thanks Joe

Hi JoeTCo! Unfortunately, I have been struggling with the bluescreens since the last time - haven't found the solution yet! It is a disgrace that no help from ASUS followed... I was informed that sending pc for the maintenance will only make sense if there is a manufacturing/hardware problem. Obviously, not only us but much more people have this issue. The chance that we all have a manufacturing problem is really small...

hello. i have the same problem with loryrockq... my laptop is new, not even 1 yr old, however, it always has bsod everytime i update it. if not updated, my laptop is okey. please help. my laptop is also ux331un and the bsod are also VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR and DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. please help

update directx software download from Microsoft. update directx 9.0c . one of the driver file is releted to power state. so update all drivers to latest. try to use nvidia and Intel generic dch whql drivers from their website
