Model: Vivobook Pro 15 N580GD
Hello,
I recently decided to swap my optane memory for an M.2 SATA SSD , specifically, a Samsung 860 Evo 1 TB M.2 SATA 2280 SSD. Part number: MZ-N6E1T0BW
I went through the steps of disabling the optane memory followed by switching SATA Mode from optane to AHCI in Bios. After I switched to AHCI I physically swapped the optane stick for the new Samsung stick and then booted the pc. I went in to disk management to initialize the new SSD and it will not show up in disk management.
I fear that the SSD I bought is not compatible with my computer.
Please let me know if there is something I missing or if the SSD is not compatible.
