Since my Asus Zenfone 10 was updated to Android 15, the camera app has been crashing while taking photos. It simply closes on its own, and the picture is not taken.
I totally understand why you wouldn't want to do that. I'm not keen on it either. If the update only comes at the end of the summer, it would be really annoying.
I wrote about the error a month ago. The error has been present on the device ever since. The phone is losing its charm and I'm slowly looking for another model. It's sad. Is it possible to software downgrade for Android 14?
Since then I have tested the photo several times and the camera crashes many times. I tried clearing the cache again, but it doesn't help. I notice that when it detects and selects faces, the next photo fails and the camera crashes again.
