Hold up and power button when turning your phone on. Do a factory reset from that menu. You may have to do this without your sim card in. Get the phone going over Wifi. Run software/Firmware update.
I don't understand how that makes sense. If it was the sim card it wouldn't boot regularly any time and a factory reset shouldn't effect that. Unless there's some sort of software issues in the firmware.
