3.5mm Combo Audio Port wiring diagram?

I have a ASUS TUF FA706IH gaming laptop. I am looking for a wiring diagram for this port. i am trying to interface it with some external devices that also use a similar 3.5mm 4 port connector. I have the wiring diagram for the other device (mic, left, right, grd) and which tip or rings each of these 4 connect to. You would think it would be simple for ASUS to provide me a diagram of how their 3.5mm Combo Audio Port was wired on this laptop so I could ensure I get a cable with matching connections. I've been told that there aren't well defined standards for these connections in the industry and to check with my computer manufacturer. Well ASUS tech support could not locate such a diagram and when I asked to be escalated to an engineer or a service technician, they said they couldn't do that. Eventually they just hung up on me. Does anyone in the community have a wiring diagram for this jack or know of an engineer or technician that could answer this question?
