we got to almost a year since this phone updated to Android pie. there are those who are really tired of waiting and those who would like to change phones because it is amazing that you are not able to keep a damn update on every Zenfone phone. the question about this is: when do you decide to send us a phone update to Android 10?

If you have problems with updates that never come, try to buy the latest Asus Rog series 🙂
It will solve your problem right away. And by the way, this phone is already over 2 years old, and of course, it is beyond the major support of asus.

You have no idea about phone community, stay off it. This is a flagship phone in 2018. Asus must be shameful that they can't release an update for this phone. Learn from One Plus and Mi who release updates even for mid range devices from 2016. Shame on the asus developers.

It means, this phone has completely abandoned for new features. However, the security updates (each 4 months) may still available until next year.

I'll be honest, I somehow expected more from ASUS for a flagship phone in this price range.
If this is how its going to be it's extremely unlikely I'll ever buy another ROG Phone ever again. I can't even run the new 3dmark benchmark Wildlife, because my phone is still stuck on Android 9.
