What does the "smoothed" parameter do inside the of the scenario profile a game?

What does the "smoothed" parameter do inside the of the scenario profile a game?

It's anti aliasing. Basically it smoothes out textures and corners at cost of either performance and/or heat and more Battery usage

Phone in English language has that setting named as 'anti aliasing'. I change it to Spanish and English back and forth that's how i know?. And yeah anti aliasing, you can just google search that it's not hard to understand. It is what i said.
