Scanlines, freezes and shutdown

For the past few days, my ROG Phone 2 has been facing some difficulties. A horizontal scanline appears out of nowhere, then the phone freezes and then it turns off. After that when I try to turn it back on, it boots up to the ASUS logo and then shuts down again. Any suggestions?

No help at the service centre. What to do now? Use the phone as a paperweight?!
